The program is designed to encourage networking, invite discussion, and provide an opportunity for participants to share their own valuable experiences. We look forward to seeing you in Nashville!
Come to WorkHuman 2019 and forge deep connections with other leaders who share your passion for creating a positive, inclusive workplace that inspires employees to do the best work of their lives.
As someone who’s always been somewhat skeptical about HR conferences, I can say that WorkHuman is the exception for me. The richness of relevant speakers and sessions would bring value to any workplace leader, and the ability to network with peers, find inspiration, and leave with practical takeaways is invaluable. In fact, I hope to come back next year with some of my company’s leadership team.

Wednesday, March 20th 10:15 – 11:30 a.m.
This lively, interactive, and no-holds-barred session will allow attendees to inquire about Kat’s personal and professional experiences and react to her most significant lessons of leadership and innovation, all while sharing experiences of their own.
Kat will share learnings from her interesting and unusual early rise to leadership, beginning with the restaurant chain Hooters, and how she has maintained and refined her belief system to include volunteer activity in Africa. She’ll also discuss her participation on CBS’s “Undercover Boss” and how the television show taught her more about her business, her leadership style, and her employees.
Wednesday, March 20th 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Leaders in organizations ranging from small entrepreneurial startups and family-owned businesses to nonprofits, civic organizations, and Fortune 500 companies are asking the same question: “How do you cultivate braver, more daring leaders, and how do you embed the value of courage in your culture?”
During her 20 years of research, including the past seven studying leadership, Brené has found the answer: Daring leadership is a collection of four skill sets and practices that are 100 percent teachable.
In this intimate session, we’ll explore the actionable tools, learnings, and unlearnings that underpin brave work, tough conversations, and showing up with your whole heart.
This was my first WorkHuman, and it was phenomenal. The overall experience was inspiring and energizing. The breadth and depth of relevant content grounded in research and real-world experience lends so much credibility to what HR leaders are doing every day. It’s a true testament to WorkHuman and Globoforce that they’re able to bring together so many professionals across multiple industries and cross-functional teams that hit at the heart of organizations. I was proud to be a part of WorkHuman.
Say yes. Nashville – and all the humans you’ll inspire, and who will inspire you in turn – is ready to greet you.
