Travel Update

How is Workhuman addressing the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in preparing for Workhuman Live 2020?

We are actively monitoring and assessing the impact of COVID-19 in relation to our planning for Workhuman Live 2020. The safety of our attendees is top of mind. We know there are many uncertainties caused by this situation and want to make sure you are aware of Workhuman’s preparedness and response to this matter.

Is the event still happening?

As of today, we still plan to move forward with Workhuman Live 2020. We will remain vigilant. As always, our priority is the health and safety of our partners, employees, attendees and every human who contributes to the Workhuman Live experience.

Will there be any additional precautions taken during the event?

We are working closely with our event venues and hotels to monitor the situation, implement enhanced sanitization procedures, and increase the availability of hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and other personal sanitizing resources.

We plan to have additional medical staff available on site during the event focused on addressing flu-like and potential coronavirus symptoms.  Medical staff will have direct contact channels to local health care facilities’ emergency medicine and epidemiology specialists, as well as state and local health departments.   Should any attendees develop flu-like or potential coronavirus symptoms during the conference, we will work with medical staff to follow isolation protocols and limit potential exposure to other attendees.

We are asking that Workhuman Live 2020 participants refrain from handshakes in order to respect all attendees’ comfort levels with physical contact.

My company has restricted travel. What should I do?

We are aware that some organizations have instituted travel restrictions which may affect their employees’ participation in Workhuman Live 2020. That said, you don’t need to do anything just yet – because either way, you’re covered. Workhuman will facilitate refunds of payment or arrange for your attendance at either Workhuman Live in Dublin or Workhuman Live 2021 if:

  • Your organization institutes a travel ban that stays in place until the time of the conference, May 11-14, 2020
  • You’ve been personally impacted by COVID-19
  • Your home area has been impacted by COVID-19
