Global Lead of Diversity & Inclusion and Culture, Pfizer
Willard is the global lead – diversity and inclusion and culture for Pfizer, Inc. He is responsible for leading the development and execution of Pfizer’s global, enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion and culture strategies, including diversity and university recruitment and Pfizer’s employee value proposition.
Prior to joining Pfizer, Willard was the global head of inclusion and diversity for Cargill, Inc., based in Minneapolis, where he held a number of functional and business leadership roles during his 13 years with the company.
Willard’s passion for diversity and inclusion runs deep. He is currently a member of the Dean’s Diversity Advisory Council (DDAC) at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), and the Business Advisory Council for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality.
Willard holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was an Oprah Winfrey Scholar. He received his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School and is a former Luce Scholar who has lived in Asia and Europe and worked on six of seven continents.
