At Globoforce, we think performance management needs a revolution, not an evolution.
That’s why at WorkHuman 2018 in Austin, Texas, April 2-5 (register here), we included a content track specifically designed for HR leaders and people managers who want to learn how crowdsourced feedback, recognition, continuous conversations, and check-ins can humanize the way we motivate and develop employees.
“Crowdsourcing & the Performance Revolution,” one of eight content tracks, will explore how leading companies are re-architecting pay to better align with top performers, including peer-based micro-pay and crowdsourced rewards that recognize achievements throughout the year.
Here are three can’t-miss speakers on the topic:
Jason Lauritsen, employee engagement and workplace culture expert, is leading a session titled “Making Performance Management Human Friendly.” Jason is a former corporate human resources executive and now dedicates his career to helping leaders build organizations that are good for both people and profits. He led the research team for Quantum Workplace’s Best Places to Work program, studying the employee experience at thousands of companies to understand what the best workplaces in the world do differently than the rest.
In “Open Source Leadership: Reinventing Management When There’s No More Business as Usual,” The Iclif Leadership and Governance Centre CEO Rajeev Peshawaria will discuss how management can adapt to the open-source age of 24/7 connectivity. The session, based on a book by Rajeev himself, will explore current practices to facilitate innovation and bold new ideas to reincarnate leadership and management into a future-proof model.
Alexander Kjerulf, chief happiness officer at Woohoo inc., is one of the world’s leading experts on happiness at work. Having presented in more than 30 countries and authored five books on the topic, Alexander will lead “The Power of Positive Feedback at Work,” discussing how to praise (and how not to praise) employees to create a healthy and happy workplace.
These are just a few of the speakers convening at WorkHuman to discuss the performance revolution. Stay tuned for more speaker announcements in support of WorkHuman’s global movement of people, purpose and passion to bring more humanity to today’s workplace. We hope to see you at WorkHuman!
